New Zefiro and Prontomix bases: new, with no hydrogenated vegetable shortening

Nowadays consumers are
paying more and more
attention to their food.
Artisanal gelato, due to its
composition, low fat content,
good balance between sugars
and proteins and, in the
case of milk based gelato,
the calcium it provides, is
a truly precious food at
every age. Here then there
are always new needs and the
composition of the gelato
rightly takes account of it.
PreGel, always heedful of

launched two new bases that
fully respect these new
needs: Zefiro Base and
Prontomix Base. Both bases
have no hydrogenated
vegetable shortening.
Zefiro Base is a hot base
with a very creamy structure
and delicate taste that
fully meets the needs of
gelato makers who want to
make a good, creamy gelato,
but without any hydrogenated
vegetable shortening.
Prontomix Base is also a hot
base without any
hydrogenated vegetable
shortening. The
characteristic of Prontomix
is moreover that, due to its
formulation, it is ideal to
be used in different ways
and different proportions.
This is why it is
particularly suited for
gelato makers who want to
prepare custom formulations
of their gelato. Prontomix
Base has a very delicate
taste of milk, a compact and
creamy structure.
