Who we are

Working since 1983, Progelcone produces waffer cones for icecream and other wafers for pastry.

Since the beginning and due to a lack in the market and to its commercial aggressiveness, the company felt the need to introduce new products on the sales line. In 1988, when the commercial department start to decentralize, the range of commercialized products has increased, always following the guideline of icecream and icecream shops.

This decentralization is made with the opening of a Distribution Center in Algarve (south), that supplies all this region and also Alentejo. More recently a new Distribution Center was opened in Maia, near Oporto, to supply all the north region of Portugal.

For a better profit of all the commercial structure and with the appearance in 1992 of the Fast-Food market, brought to Portugal by the big international chains, Progelcone decided to invest on this segment, supplying today, almost all the existing stores of Fast-Food and Fast-Restaurants, concerning  disposable packaging (paper and plastic cups, burger boxes, hot-dog, pizza, fries, etc).

We work today on several business segments: icecream, burger, pizzerias, hot-dog, sandwich, pastry, catering, take-away, vending, drinkings, restaurants, and many others, all of them related to Hotels, Restaurants and Catering (HORECA).

Our range of products is very large and constantly updated in new products and others substituted by new ones, more recent, modern or produced by a more advanced technology.

What we offer?

Beyond a great range of products, some produced by us and others commercialized, which are produced by the most reputed European, American and Asian companies, products where our customers find all their needs, we have a commercial and logistic structure that quickly arrives to the customer.

All the chains with stores in a national level can take advantage from our logistic structure, once, in 24 hours we can deliver products in any place in Portugal through one of our Distribution Centers (Lisbon, Albufeira and Maia).
